Over the holidays at the end of 2024, we built and launched a new home for the Stellar Web Team using Docusaurus.

The goal was to preserve the simplicity and vendor-agnosticism of the old Hugo-based site, i.e. keep things "just some plain text files"—but with a focus on JavaScript-based tooling and templating instead of Hugo's Go-based ecosystem.

At first, we didn't have the Blog module enabled, but as of today, it's live!

...For now. Today is the start of an experiment to see if the Blog serves as good place to share project recaps, decision logs, and other content that is hard to find a good home for elsewhere.

We're still using Canvases in Slack for weekly priority and deployment lists, for example, and there's not a good reason to change that.

If this blog ends up underutilized, we'll shut it down.
